I knew someone who ...

"... drank all types of alcohol when he was very young

and did it a lot. Now, he is an alcoholic

and has massive brain damage because of his drinking.

He was so bad off at one time

that he was in the hospital and he checked himself out

because he "needed" a drink.

To this day he needs help from a his family

because the drinking did permanent damage to his brain."
